A place to meet people through a digital stand-in that is always online. It answers as AI when you are away, and you can take over and speak for yourself at any point.

The idea
Two people meeting, with a stand-in that keeps the door open in between — and an honest label on who is actually talking.
Everyone has a stand-in
Your avatar is present whether or not you are. People can find it, start a conversation with it, and leave something for you — the way knocking on a door works when someone is home and when they are not.
AI when you are away
Left to itself, the avatar answers as itself: it knows what you have told it about you and how you want it to speak, and it does not pretend to be you in the moment.
You can step in
Take over mid-conversation and you are simply talking, through the avatar, in your own words. The other side is told the moment control changes hands.
Who is speaking is never ambiguous
The distinction between a person and a stand-in is the whole product. It is shown at all times, not buried in a setting, and it is not something either side can fake.
Meeting, not broadcasting
Built around two people finding each other and talking, rather than an audience watching a feed.
Presence without being on call
Being reachable at any hour should not mean answering at any hour. The avatar holds the thread until you want it.
Where this stands
This page describes a direction, not a product you can use today. There is no app, no waiting list and no account. When there is something to try, it will appear here and in the product menu alongside the apps that have already shipped.
